It was during a 14 month long back-packing adventure in Asia
in the mid 90’s that my attention was peaked in regards to Yoga
and the Healing Arts from the East. Upon returning from my
journey I immediately registered myself into a 6 weeks yoga
class in Charleston, SC. I distinctly remember floating out of
that first class and declaring to anyone listening in the parking
lot that I was going to be a yoga instructor!
In 1999 I embarked on my first yoga teacher training in San
Francisco with It’s Yoga, specializing in Ashtanga Yoga. In 2003,
I packed my yoga mat and my surf board and headed to the
beautiful country of Costa Rica for a month long intensive yoga
training at Nosara Yoga Institute. The days were filled with yoga,
surfing and exploring the jungle; it was my idea of heaven.
Over the past 20 years I have had the pleasure of sharing yoga
with hundreds of people from all over the world and it brings
me great joy. I love teaching beginner to advanced students
and focus on a flowing style that explores the journey of
awareness not just on your body, but your mind and spirit as
